Five Things We Liked on Friday

Five Things Friday

  • 1. Vera Wang’s beautiful, practically poetic knits: The backs were replaced with panels of sheer, flowing chiffon.
  • 2. Sari Gueron! We loved the bright, Calder-inspired primary-colored tunics and minidresses, and jet beading on black seems like just the right amount of shine for evening.

  • 3. Zero Maria Cornejo is cool, easy, and priced in our stratosphere. Harriet fell for a white shirtdress, and Amy for a blue, kind of sparkly shift dress with cutouts under the arms.
  • 4. The indigo-dyed prints at Thakoon.
  • 5. Proenza Schouler’s polish was a thrilling finish to the day: everything short, chic, and belted. Particular favorite: exit No. 2.
