J.Lo, Tinsley Play It Cool at Just Cavalli

The Tinz made the scene dressed like a giant delicacy from Magnolia Bakery, gushing over her recently launched fashion line in Japan and regretting her lethargy and jet lag. “Last weekend I got back, and my body’s just exhausted. I was going to go to several shows today, and I ended up not going because I just didn’t feel well. I had this really cute dress for tonight, and it sort of inspired me to put it on and get myself out of bed and come out and make an effort,” she said. But does she miss our recently departed intern and Park Avenue Peerage blogger James Kurisunkal? “I told him he should not miss Fashion Week,” she said. “I don’t know why he’s back there (at school) right now.”
J.Lo was escorted through the crammed space by the designer himself. Even in a long-sleeved, full-length dress and a hat, J.Lo did not violate the ban on public celebrity sweating. But our favorite celeb sighting of the night would have to be Rock of Love’s Brandi M., looking punkish and put-together, graciously accepting praise from a handful of male admirers. She wasn’t there with Bret Michaels, but here’s hoping her short, greasy date was purely platonic. Rachel Wolff
