The AP is reporting that tempestuous supermodel–cum–GQ reporter Naomi Campbell has been hospitalized in São Paolo and is "being treated by one of Brazil's top specialists in infectious diseases," according to the reps at Sirio Libanes Hospital, where she's currently staying. No further info, and no further dry observations on our end. Scary stuff. More as we know it.

Update 2:20 p.m. Her U.K. reps tell us Naomi was admitted to the hospital last night (February 25) to "have a small cyst removed" and that it was a "successful procedure." Well, that's good! Except, um, if that's all it was, why was Naomi being treated by an infectious-diseases specialist? Yeah. Ugh.
