• Robbie Myers and Joe Zee of Elle will guest-star on the season finale of Ugly Betty with Naomi Campbell. The episode is about a charity softball game between Elle and Mode magazine. Campbell plays Elle's designated hitter. Wow, Naomi with a bat. Scary. [WWD]

• It's hard out there for a designer retailer right now. The dollar's in the hole so Americans have to pay 20 to 40 percent more on clothes from abroad. Also, shipments from Chanel, Zegna, Nina Ricci, Roberto Cavalli, and Prada are arriving late at stores. Why? Retailers say expansion in Russia and China could be backing up the supply chain. [WWD]

• Simon Doonan is nervous about reviews of his new memoir Beautiful People. The story focuses on "things like flying dentures, prostitutes, medical emergencies and freak accidents." Um, how could it be bad? [British Vogue]

• Miuccia Prada hired Rem Koolhaas to design her contemporary-art museum in Milan. How highbrow. [NYDN]

• Cynthia Rowley designed a line of home-entertainment products for Target that include a madras plaid inflatable pool, pink, and blue garden hoses, a blue and green Weber grill, and a "really cute badminton set." How lowbrow. [WWD]

• Victoria Beckham went to the premiere of Speed Racer in L.A., where guests had the opportunity to ride go-karts and eat pretzels and cotton candy. We're guessing she had none of it. [WWD]

• C'N'C' Costume National designed a solar-powered handbag that can recharge cell phones. Oh goody — just what we've always wanted. [WWD]

• Sergio Rossi designed a limited-edition stiletto sandal for the Cannes Film Festival. The solar bag sounds much cooler. [British Vogue]

• Ludacris changed his shirt in the car before a benefit in Atlanta at the Ralph Lauren store because he had lipstick on it. [NYP]

• Mallercise — walking in the mall for exercise — is popular in the U.S. and now sweeping through the U.K. [Guardian]
