Prada’s new look book for its sportier line, Linea Rossa, is out. And more striking than the bright fur hoods and ample black leather are the model casting choices. Prada picked a very strong trio from Women/Supreme Model Management: Natalia Chaanenko, Georgina Stojilkovic, and Amanda Laine. Though these girls make sense in their own right (Chaanenko opened and closed last season’s show, and Laine was the Prada fit model), it’s impossible not to notice that no IMG girls are included. Recent Prada ads and look books have contained at least one model from that agency like Anabela Belikova, Irina Kulikova, or omnipresent Sasha Pivovarova. Is Prada making a point that they aren't taking bribes from any modeling agents? Possibly. Or maybe they just really liked these other girls.
