MAKEUP
• Kate Somerville’s skin-care line, used by celebs like Molly Sims and Kate Walsh, used to be only in spas. But starting this season it will be available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Henri Bendel. [WWD]

• Allergen, the company who gave the world Botox, is creating a drug called Lumigan that makes eyelashes grow. It’s awaiting FDA-approval, as are we. [BellaSugar]

• Haute Face, the makeup line created by Cassandra Mills for women of color, will be carried in 50 Macy’s stores starting this fall. About time. [WWD]

• The Shu Uemura eyelash curler is the top-selling item at Sephora in New York City. You'll recall Gisele referenced it in The Devil Wears Prada, which probably explains this. [Beauty and the Blog / Sephora]

• Smashbox Cosmetics is holding a competition to find the next beauty guru. The winner gets to design a makeup palette for Fashion Week. It's going to be 96 degrees this weekend — now you have a project to work on in front of your air conditioner. [Daily Beauty Reporter/Allure]

FRAGRANCE
• Milliner Stephen Jones created a fragrance with the Comme des Garçons Parfums division, which will launch this September, complete with packaging that looks like a hat box. [WWD]

SKIN
• Prescriptives released a new night cream called Good in Bed. It’s a restoring night moisturizer that smoothes wrinkles overnight. And yes, night creams and day creams are different so whatever you do, don't use this during the day. [British Vogue]

• DermaDNA is a DNA test that uses a piece of nose skin to measure an individual’s DNA damage due to ultraviolet light and sun radiation. Currently, the test launched only in Canada but is expected to launch in the United States later this year. [Cosmetics Design]

NAILS
• The new quick-dry clear topcoat from the Lippmann Collection called Addicted to Speed costs $20. At that price point you have to wonder how literal that name is. [BellaSugar]
