Meet the New Guy: Boyd Holbrook

Who says models can't have careers post-catwalk? Kentucky native Boyd Holbrook was spotlighted in V Man's spring 2008 issue for his work as a rising photographer. But before that, he was logging time in front of the camera. Holbrook was, after all, discovered way back in 2001 while working as a carpenter. Since then, the blond looker starred in the impossibly cool campaigns for Dior Homme (spring 2004) and even pulled off wrestling in heels for a 2004 W spread. More recently, though, he scored a 2007 Kenneth Cole campaign and posed with Gemma Ward for the Jean Paul Gaultier advertisements. No stranger to the runway since he’s walked Dolce, McQueen and Gucci in 2006, look for him on next month’s menswear catwalks. —Kendall Herbst
