Today the Daily Mail reports the non-news that Naomi Campbell has replaced Kate Moss as the face of Yves Saint Laurent. Most of us knew this already. But what most of us probably didn't know is buried in the last sentence of the article:

[Campbell] also revealed yesterday that she has had an operation so she can have a baby and is prepared to become a single mother.

We really don't understand why they didn't write this article in reverse and elaborate on this point. Who cares that her new contract is worth more than $400,000 when she very well could have been artificially inseminated with sperm from a bank? Who cares that Kate Moss "feels no animosity" toward Campbell for replacing her when Campbell's pregnancy and/or childbirth could occur in jail if she's convicted of the assault she was charged with last week? Our heads are about to explode. Is prioritized reporting out of style or something?
