Ed Westwick to Design a Clothing Line?

Photo: Courtesy of CW

Here's a fun rumor: Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick is supposedly in talks to design a fashion line. Fashionista reports:
Apparently, the king of ripped shirts and lead singer of Filthy Youth can't wait to add his "two cents" to "the creative side" of a certain label related to his Vanity Fair shoot.

His outfit, (in the August issue), is Thom Browne, but his sunglasses are Jack Spade and, well, that would be the most perfect collaboration ever.

Now often when celebrities have their sights set on fashion design, they drop hints to the media. The closest thing we've found from Westwick so far is in the May issue of Seventeen:

What's your dream job? Probably landscape gardening. I think gardens are fantastic, and I'd love to draw and design and stuff like that. I love just planting flowers during the summer. There's something very humble about it, and natural and beautiful.

Okay, so gardening is a far cry from fashion design. Then again, flowers are in this season. And let's be honest — "actor-cum-gardener" just doesn't have quite the ring of "actor–cum–clothing designer."
