Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel couture show took place in Paris today. Aside from the clothes, here are a few highlights:

• The set resembled organ pipes, and the models walked to organ music. After the show, waiters came out from the rafters with carts of Champagne, water, Coke, and pear juice (guava is out). Food included tomato-and-mozzarella skewers and — this being Paris — macaroons. [Fashion Week Daily]

• Do note the models rocked Anna Wintour's bob. Also Jessica Stam, Agyness Deyn, and Fendi's fall campaign star Raquel Zimmermann did not walk. [Fashionista]

• Karl Lagerfeld's bodyguard, Sebastian Jondeau, rocked the yellow safety vest Karl shills in his new ad campaign for road safety in France. Now that's what we call representing. [Fashionologie]
