Rag & Bone to Open First Store in West Village

Rag & Bone just signed the lease for their first store, slated to open in September (Fashion Week party, anyone?) in the West Village at 104 Christopher Street. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville started the label as a men's denim collection in 2001; though they had no formal fashion training, they managed to expand into full sportswear collections for men and women and become hot enough to garner fans like Gisele and Sienna Miller. So it's about time for a shop of their own. We look forward to seeing their bright-purple coats and plaid dresslike garments for men from their fall collection in the windows over there.
