Carmen Kass opened Michael Kors for what feels like the umpteenth time, but Vlada Rosylakova closed his show after appearing recently in a Harper’s Bazaar spread with the designer himself. And after Georgie Badiel walked Marc Jacobs last season, the Burkinabe model is proving she’s here to stay, closing for 3.1 phillip lim. South Korean Hyoni Kang is also gaining traction by closing Nanette Lepore, while also making a beautiful runway turn at Kors. Kasia Struss also had a big day, closing Richard Chai and then scooting over to Doo.Ri to open and close that show. But Wednesday’s winner is undoubtedly Arlenis Sosa. She’s an Oscar de la Renta favorite — first on his arm to the Met gala, then walking his resort, and now she does the honors of opening and closing his show.
