Barneys Settles on Meatpacking-District Space
9/4/08 at 3:59 PM
Finally Barneys has settled on a space for its meatpacking-district outpost at the northwest corner of West 13th Street and Washington Street. The 50,000-square-foot multilevel space will offer shoppers a view of the High Line and the river. It just might include an entrance to the store from the High Line. Can you imagine padding down the High Line on a lovely September day and … Oh! Is that a Barneys? And oh! Is that a sale sign in the window? I think I'll just pop in for a quick shop and continue enjoying the lovely view I've got up here. Heaven. [Racked]
