• The new chairman of LVMH, Renaud Dutreil, has been making the rounds at New York Fashion Week and was spotted at the Marchesa presentation yesterday. Could repertoire expansion be in the works? [WWD]
• Sean Avery has to go back to work as a hockey player in six or seven days. He says of his teammates, "I'm sure they'll have a lot of jokes they've been working on all summer long to hit me with once training camp starts." [NYO]
