HAIR
• The hairpieces at the Christian Dior show in Paris yesterday took Orlando Pita three days to make. "[It] was so heavy, I felt like we all got a three-hour face-lift treatment," says model Chanel Iman. Good luck recreating this one at home! [The Daily]

• The hair on Yohji Yamamoto's runway also created buzz. The stylist calls the slept-in bun look "Miss Marple-meets-Catherine Deneuve in 'The Hunger.'" [WWD]

MAKEUP
• In this video, makeup artist Pat McGrath tells Suzy Menkes the makeup in the Christian Dior show was "lightly inspired by Africa" and "very easy-to-wear." Yes, easy-to-wear makeup at a John Galliano show! Who knew? [NYT]

FRAGRANCE
• You know those "anti-aging" perfumes? Dr. Nicholas Perricone's latest "Neuropeptide Synergy" works by "[delivering] pheromones to the brain that activate positive changes in the areas related to emotional well-being." And it's a bargain at just £215 (or $383) for 25 ml. [Daily Mail]

NAILS
• The "it" color for fall is shimmery chocolate brown. Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent's limited-edition varieties are supposed to be good. [Beauty Maverick]
