Tom Ford has mentioned he'd like to direct movies. But we confess, we always thought of those comments as the kind of thing one just says. Like, "I'm going to paint my new apartment!" Well, we've never lived within anything but white walls. But Tom Ford is not like us. E! Online reports he's finishing up an adaptation of Christopher Isherwood's 1964 novel, A Single Man, for his directorial debut. Also, Colin Firth is in talks to star as a gay college professor dealing with the sudden death of his lover with the help of a female friend and a student of his. Oh, but there's more: Julianne Moore will reportedly play the friend, and Jamie Bell will play the student. Ford will start filming in L.A. in November. A studio isn't attached to the project. Yet. What are you bitches waiting for?!
