Ubah Hassan Closes Out Fashion Week

Comeback queen Anna Jagodzinska continued her streak of retaking the runways by opening and closing Donna Karan's spring show. Ex-Chanel Allure face Yasmin Warsame looked drop-dead gorgeous closing Stephens Burrows; her historic editorial for Italian Vogue's all-black issue remains in our minds. Badgley Mischka, on the other hand, went with rising stars Georgina Stojilkovic and Ksenia Kaknovich to open and close their show. The king of New York, Ralph Lauren, once again chose his muse of more than three years Valentina Zelyaeva to open, but it was the surprise of seeing Somali model Ubah Hassan close the safari-inspired collection that takes the cake. We've been tooting her horn for a while now, and it's just wonderful to see a star in the making. We hope casting directors in Milan and Paris take note of Hassan's beauty in the coming weeks.
