Ogle ‘V’ Magazine’s Fourteen New Cover Models
Anja Rubik
The fall issue of V magazine has fourteen different covers. Each cover boasts a head shot of a famous model, either from the new crop of leading ladies or the supermodel era, lensed by the enigmatic duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Cover stars include Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell, Agyness Deyn, Lara Stone, Natasha Poly, Sunniva Stordahl, Malgosia Bela, Anja Rubik, Daria Werbowy, Eva Herzigova, Frankie Rayder. Über-fresh faces who landed covers include Abbey Lee, Anna Selezneva, and Eniko Mihalik. Early-00’s model du jour Bela looks strong and androgynous on her cover, Turlington looks just plain beautiful, and the sleepy-eyed Mihalik adopts an ethereal look. And Rubik’s cover — one of our favorites — recalls fifties glamour à la Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief. But why should we tell you about them when you can see all fourteen covers in our slideshow?
