So Hearst is cutting back. Word is "company president Cathie Black is going 'floor by floor' at the Hearst Tower to trim costs — and staff positions — where possible." Harper's Bazaar closed its L.A. and San Francisco sales offices on Tuesday and also cut positions in its merchandizing division last week.
