• H&M's same-store sales dropped 2 percent in September. Things could be worse, right? [WWD]
• J.Crew opened their first Collection store on Madison and 79th, featuring higher-end J.Crew items like $2,200 calfskin jackets. Great timing! [WWD]
• Donatella Versace will show her men's and women's spring 2009 collections next month in Beijing to benefit the Jet Li One Foundation, which provides relief to earthquake survivors. [British Vogue]
• Reese Witherspoon on her collaboration with Olivier Theyskens for her 2007 Golden Globes dress: "Of course I put out tons of food and he didn't eat anything.
