Attention rustic wildebeest men! Throw out your Mach III and sell your gold shares, because the new F.S.C Barbershop is selling a few limited-edition face shavers you'll want to invest in. Why? Because they're made from 10,000-year-old fossilized Siberian woolly-mammoth tusk, that's why! If that doesn't reek "hip" more than wearing a plaid hunting jacket to the Beatrice on a Tuesday night, we don't know what does. Made by accessories designer Derrick Cruz of Black Sheep & Prodigal Sons, the woolly-mammoth tusk is hinged to a restored vintage steel blade. Starting at $2,200 for a narrow variety, the handle can be customized with Cruz's signature scrimshaw engraving for $25 per letter. (The razor pictured here reads "Shorty," after the head West Village F.S.C. barber.) Only 50 of these suckers will be made (there's only so much 10,000-year-old Siberian woolly-mammoth tusk to go around). Each comes in a handcrafted wooden box with a black linen sleeve. But better yet, a tiny lens is embedded in each tusk through which you'll find an image of vintage erotica. You heard it hear first — putting fossils in museums is so out.
