MAKEUP
• The FDA ruled that beginning in 2011, cosmetics companies must list carmine and cochineal (the crushed bodies of cochineal beetles) on labels, as these can cause an allergic reaction. Right now they're listed as "artificial colors" or "additives." [Style.com]
• The makeup line by celebrity makeup artist Scott Barnes, whose claim to fame is J. Lo's sun-kissed look, has been discontinued. Apparently one girl started crying when she found out she couldn't get her Body Bling. [WWD]
FRAGRANCE
• Elizabeth Arden is selling a new "deluxe" version of Mariah Carey's Luscious Pink fragrance for $75 and advertising it as a "$600 value." [Now Smell This]
HAIR
• Here's a slideshow of celebrity hair dos and don'ts, Donald Trump most definitely included. [Guardian]
• Paris Hilton chopped her locks. Yes, this is news and it is important. [People.com]
