Target Lays off 600; Chanel’s Headdresses Were Made From Office Paper

• Target's major cutbacks for 2009 include cutting 600 jobs at its headquarters in Minneapolis and St. Paul, not filling 400 open positions, and closing its Little Rock distribution center, which employs 500 people. [WWD]
