Last night's competition for the top-model spot was a tight race. The big designers decided to choose the same girl to both open and close. Iris Strubegger, next month's French Vogue cover girl, opened and closed Proenza Schouler, while Jourdan Dunn defined modern elegance by opening and closing at Oscar de la Renta. However, it's Agyness Deyn who comes out on top. Until yesterday, the Brit was M.I.A. on all the New York runways. But she resurfaced at Anna Sui, opening the show for the fifth season in a row. And since she also landed the closing slot, Deyn edges out Dunn. For now, at least.
