There isn’t much shopping happening in Yorkville except for cute home accessories store Alex & Lorenzo. Owner Kristen McLaughlin opened her pint-size shop last April once her two kids (Alex and Lorenzo) were at an age where she could go back to work. An avid shopper who loves decorating and is obsessed with accessories, she packed her store with everything from country-chic porcelain animals and delicious-smelling soaps to paperweights and bookends in the shape of a hand making a peace sign — all at a reasonable price.
