We popped by Loehmann's while bargain-hunting this weekend, and left with bruises. Two women ran us over because of the store's newest stock — a huge shipment from the shoe floor at Barneys New York (the shoeboxes actually had Barneys stickers). We spotted Prada wedges and Christian Louboutin pumps on one rack and Manolo Blahnik strappy sandals and Barneys Co-Op chunky heels on another. Miu Miu, Jil Sander, and Costume National lined the shelves, too. Patent navy flats by Lanvin are $199, and suede calf bootees by Marc Jacobs are $157. Both the Chelsea and Upper West Side locations received shipments two weeks ago, and selection is still aplenty. Consider it good practice for the actual Barneys Warehouse Sale, which starts on Thursday, February 12. Between the economy and the discounts, you may as well start sharpening your claws right now.
