Fashion Week Ticket Scalpers Hit Craigslist

We always say that Fashion Week is like the Super Bowl of the fashion industry. The pushing, the running, and now, we even have our own scalpers. A bunch of ads popped up on Craigslist this week boasting available tickets to fourteen different shows. Runways like Narciso Rodriguez, BCBG Max Azria, and Matthew Williamson are up for grabs for $250 a seat. Scandalous! We can't help but wonder who is behind this — an editor, a buyer? Perhaps it's even a last-ditch resort for designers to make money off their shows? But we remain skeptical about the sellers. It's not that this is an entirely crazy idea — just an impractical one. Because buying a ticket to "Annau Sui," "Michael Kores," or "Dian Von Furstenberg" sounds sketchy. And, as we've all learned from past Heatherette fiascos, just because you have an invite, doesn't mean you're getting in.
