PETA Protester Hands Out Free Pita at the Tents

PETA didn't stage a protest outside the tents during fur designer Dennis Basso's show yesterday. But stylist Derek Warburton promoted his anti-PETA campaign. As in he's protesting PETA: Wearing a fur coat, Warbuton wheeled a cart around the tents yesterday afternoon handing out free pita bread. He was even kind enough to send a poster to our office that reads, "Save energy. Wear fur." We actually kind of missed PETA at the tents yesterday. No Fashion Week is complete without a sighting of someone dressed in a bloody bunny costume. Maybe they're cutting back on dry-cleaning bills? Anyway, it's good to know someone's protesting something this Fashion Week.
