New York's fashion director, Harriet Mays Powell, caught up with Jason Wu at a recent soirée celebrating his inaugural coup. He says he was home eating pizza when he saw Michelle Obama step out in his creation. "I screamed, I teared up, I spoke to my mom. You know, it's a very new silhouette for a First Lady," he says.
