A rumor is circulating in Milan that Alessandra Facchinetti, who was fired as head designer of Valentino last Fashion Week, is designing a line of womenswear for Tom Ford. Facchinetti was top womenswear designer at Gucci under Ford, and Ford has said he will return to womenswear. We anxiously await the ladies' version of his $1,000 jeans and $10,000 fur boots.
