The Best and Worst of March Fashion Magazines

  • 3/19/09 at 1:10 PM

March is the month of spring-fashion issues, and we're happy to report that the 2009 editions were pleasantly plump with ads, despite the ceaseless economic doom and gloom. We finally got our hands on an issue of Love, which the magazine-store man pulled out from under the counter like some sort of contraband (in case you want one, they only gave him ten copies, which he saved for his "best customers"). We pulled a few highlights from the debut issue, which we loved (save for the mini-exposé of Erin Wasson). Meanwhile, Tilda Swinton stunned in Another Magazine; French Vogue (pictured here) devoted an entire issue to Chanel; and both Esquire and Details demonstrated that men's magazines still don't know how to properly treat female models in fashion spreads. But on the bright side, Iggy Pop stunned in some of the tightest pants we've ever seen. See these highlights and more in the slideshow.
