Brian Atwood really sexed up his latest project to promote his line of footwear. The shoe designer teamed up with photographer Tony Duran and stylist Kithe Brewster to shoot actress Rene Russo wearing his spring/summer 2009 collection for a limited release of a book called Role Play Rene. The results? Rene's stiletto heels pressed on a man's naked ass, shots of her lying facedown in a pool wearing wedges, and a blindfolded shower session with two men. Oh, and there's more — girl-on-girl hair-pulling, manhandling, and kicks to the face. Only 1,000 of these books were printed, so the exclusivity factor to score one is high, especially since the party to celebrate the book (which is hosted by Byrdie Bell and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld) will be invite-only this Thursday at Openhouse Gallery.
