Misleading Olay Ad Pulled; Nina Ricci’s ‘Kooky Darkness’

SKIN
• The United Kingdom's Advertising Standards Authority is making Olay pull its ads for Regenerist skin cream. People complained because Olay compared the cream to cosmetic injections without sufficient evidence to support the claims. [WWD]

• On March 19, the Art of Shaving will open a shop within a shop at the Bloomingdale's flagship store on 59th Street. They're calling it a "barber spa." [WWD]

HAIR
• Bravo's hairstylist reality-competition show, Shear Genius just got renewed for a third season. Honestly, who watched it the first two times around? [Variety]

MAKEUP
• Peter Phillips called the makeup he did for the Nina Ricci show "classic with a touch of kooky darkness." Hairstylist Odile Gilbert called his work "pure sculpture." [WWD]
