Ex–Project Runway contestant Kenley Collins will appear in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Schermerhorn Street today. She faces charges of a class-A misdemeanor after allegedly violently throwing her cat, three apples, a laptop, and water at her ex-fiancé Zak Penley. At her last hearing, Kenley admitted to "gently" tossing her cat onto the bed but said she never used it as a weapon. “I feel a little sorry for her that she can’t control her emotions and behavior,” fellow Project Runway contestant Leanne Marshall has said. "But on the other hand, absolutely nothing excuses physical violence and throwing a poor, defenseless kitty at someone who is sleeping.
