Karolin Wolter is modeling's latest German sensation, following fellow Germans Toni Garrn and Katrin Thormann's ascent to the top. Before landing on a single catwalk, this 18-year-old booked spreads in the February issues of Chinese Vogue and Wonderland. As impressive as that may be, her debut runway season, for the fall 2009 shows, cemented her status as a quickly rising star. The icy-looking beauty hit it out of the park in New York, walking for Alexander Wang, BCBG Max Azria, and Marc Jacobs. In Milan, she opened Jil Sander, a coup for any model. And finally, in Paris, Wolter sashayed down Dries Van Noten, Valentino, and Yves Saint Laurent's runways.
