V magazine's model search opens today. After partnering with Supreme Management for the last two years, the magazine locked in Ford Models this time to sign the winner. And unlike some other modeling contests we know of, this one can actually launch a career. Amanda Laine won in 2007 and went on to walk countless runways, appear in Balenciaga campaigns, and book editorials in W, Harper's Bazaar, and Italian Vogue. Addison Gill won last year, and has since walked at Calvin Klein and Pringle of Scotland. And though she hasn't reached Laine's status, she's well on her way to hitting her own peak. So do you have what it takes to be high fashion? Practice your hunched-hands-on-hip couture look, because aspiring models can submit their photos online from now until the end of June.
