Aviation isn't the first thing that comes to mind when we think of Hermès. But the French house indeed took to the sky for its latest collaboration, creating a helicopter in conjunction with Eurocopter. The chopper, which is named L'Hélicoptère par Hermès, features a white, brown, and orange color scheme, toile "H" fabric on the cockpit, and handcrafted seats upholstered in Hermès calf leather. It sold for $6 million to Falcon Aviation Services in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and will be used to host business travelers. Clearly the word "recession" means little to some people. [Luxist]
