In her expense report, member of Parliament Jo Swinson included receipts for a hair dryer and makeup. Her reimbursements for the year, including these items, totaled £23,083. MPs may claim expenses for low-cost, everyday items for a second home near the House of Commons. The eyeliner and lip liner Swinson claimed shouldn't comprise these necessities.
