Christian Lacroix May Not Stage a Couture Show

Yesterday, a court in Paris placed Christian Lacroix under administration for the next six months, after the house filed for bankruptcy last week. A period of "observation and investigation" shall ensue, but it remains unclear whether the label will be able to show at fall 2009 Couture Week in July. Hopefully they can hang on to their staff and resources long enough to make that happen. The whole thing is so painful. [WWD]
