L'Oréal Guilty of Racist Hiring Practices

A French court has found L'Oréal guilty of racial discrimination when hiring sales people in 2000. The company only wanted saleswomen for its Fructis Style hair-care line who were white, of French descent, and between the sizes of 8 and 12. L'Oréal and its hiring firm have each been fined $41,500.
