The media ripples from British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman's epistle against dangerously thin sample-size standards in the industry continue to wash ashore globally. Australian Vogue headmistress Kirstie Clements says, "Some of the international designers' samples look like dolls [sic] clothes when they arrive. We shouldn't have to starve to fit the clothes. The clothes should fit us." The banning of disturbingly thin model Stephanie Carta (pictured left) from Australian fashion shows last year demonstrates that the antipodeans already have the stones to back these sentiments up with action.
