Rumor has it that Puig Fashion Group president Mario Grauso will step down after New York Fashion Week, when his contract runs out. WWD reports one source postulates he's unhappy with Olivier Theyskens's departure from Nina Ricci, a situation most certainly deserving of regret. Indeed, Grauso sang Theyskens praises in January, quite a few weeks before the designer's stunning fall 2009 show. (Peter Copping now helms design at Ricci, but no pressure to you, sir!) Puig is said to already be looking for a replacement. Puig's other fashion brands include Carolina Herrera and Paco Rabanne. So it's a big, important job. Puig also develops product lines for celebrities like Antonio Banderas and Shakira. No word on whether being on tonight and starting to feel it's right is a prerequisite.
