Lindsay Lohan at Emanuel Ungaro: A ‘Dangerous Move’

Some designers featured at Bergdorf Goodman's Fashion's Night Out were tight-lipped when it came to the topic of Lindsay Lohan's being appointed artistic adviser at Emanuel Ungaro. Alexander Wang declined to comment, and Peter Som mustered an, "Um, I wish them the best." Naeem Khan, on the other hand, admitted that he's "a little worried." "Esteban is a great friend of mine, and I think it's a very dangerous move that they're making," he told us.

When prodded, he said he wouldn't bring a celebrity onboard. "Movie stars and fashion, it goes hand in hand in another way, but not to involve in your business," he said. "She could have been an outside consultant coming in, but you still need a full-on designer to really make the business, to design the collection. You cannot have a team and then have Lindsay Lohan as your front face. That whole strategy is not making sense to me. She's great as a face, but she's not great as a designer." We'll see, won't we?
