Pierre Hardy is best known for the covetable accessories he designs for Balenciaga, Hermès, and his eponymous line, but those unwilling or unable to drop four figures on the designer’s wares may be happy to learn (or be reminded) that he also produces a more affordable collection. For 21 years, Hardy has served as the art director of Sequoia, a French handbag and luggage company known for its streamlined styles. While his involvement may not have been kept purposefully under wraps, it has definitely flown under the radar.
