To the beat of krautrock and German punk, the tough-looking models in Robert Geller’s aggressive show marched out in motorcycle jackets, army vests, leather trenches, and cummerbunds. Wait — cummerbunds? We asked the designer about his clever use of this underused midriff accessory. “I never like leather shiny, pressed, and perfect,” an elated Geller explained backstage post show. “I like it a little bit fucked-up.
