Bras and panties with cutouts, extra straps, zippers, and other frippery that look like the kind of thing Rihanna would wear onstage are selling strong in British department stores this holiday season. Selfridges can barely keep designer Nichole de Carle’s £220 bondage bra and matching £85 panties in stock. A rep for the store says things are getting naughty: “Sales of the sexiest designs of lingerie are already up 50 percent and we predict that this Christmas won’t be white.
