Monday Was the Biggest Online-Spending Day in History!

This year’s Cyber Monday was the most profitable online-shopping day in the history of the Internet! According to marketing research company ComScore, online retailers made over $1 billion in sales, which is a 16 percent increase over last year’s profits. Over 9 million people shopped (up 4 percent from last year), and the average online shopper spent $114.24 on various purchases. Finally, while we’re not quite sure how they could track this, ComScore determined that 52.9 percent of purchases were made by people at work, a number that we may have personally contributed to.
