Slideshow: A Decade of Emmanuelle Alt’s French Vogue Editorials

French Vogue’s March issue, covered by model Saskia de Brauw, will be the last under the leadership of Carine Roitfeld. As the outgoing editor-in-chief prepares to announce her next gig (rumored to be another magazine editorship), her successor, Emmanuelle Alt, prepares to release her first issue for April, which Gisele Bündchen will cover.

Alt has said she has no plans to overhaul the magazine. But even so, her debut will undoubtedly be scrutinized by fashion obsessives down to the placement of every model’s last strand of hair. In anticipation of Alt’s first issue as editor-in-chief, we compiled a look back at her work for French Vogue. See a selection of our favorite editorials styled by Alt, dating from 2001, in the slideshow.
