The Met Is Extending the McQueen Exhibit to August 7

The Alexander McQueen exhibit has been such a smashing success (as evidenced by the massive lines trailing out the door at all hours every day) that the Metropolitan Museum of Art has decided to change the closing date from July 31 to August 7. They will also open the exhibit on Mondays, when the rest of the museum is closed, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for visitors willing to pay a $50 admission fee. [WWD]
