The new photo book Northern Women in Chanel showcases an incredible array of Chanel designs, worn by top Scandinavian and Baltic models, including Carmen Kass, Theres Andersson, and Ginta Lapina. The book, available from today at Farago Publishing’s online store, is a collaboration between photographer Peter Farago and his wife, stylist Ingela Klemetz-Farago. The 384-page tome includes 45 beautiful editorials shot worldwide (but primarily in Sweden, where the couple are based, and other Nordic sites) and took a full year and a half’s work.
All profits from the book, which is limited to 2112 copies, as well as profits from a touring exhibition of the photos will go to Save the Children and the building of girls’ schools in Baltic countries specifically. Though the exhibit is currently in Stockholm through September, there are plans to take it worldwide. Enjoy a few shots from the book in our slideshow.
